The Wrigglers #gardening #cartoon looks the Saffron Crocus this week. The reason it’s expensive is that harvesting is labour intensive. The plant only grows three Saffron stigmas, and it takes 70,000 plants to grow 1lb of Saffron.

Not sure there’s a pot big enough.
