I've always drawn cartoons. I am inspired by cartoonists, and comic artists.

If only I could draw like Dave Gibbons or Thelwell. But I can't. However I can draw like Simon Haynes – that's me by the way.

This is my outlet. My style. My humour. My creations. They're clean, eye catching, and make me laugh. An image of a bed of stinging nettles stinging each other. It's silly. If you like silly, then you'll like this gallery.

I like serious art, don't get me wrong. And there's a place for that. Not here though. 

I know these prints won't hang alongside a Banksy, or on the local contemporary gallery wall, granted. But they will hang on someone's wall. Yours maybe?

    My first themed series of prints are all about plants. The series, 'If plants could talk' was created as a part of the cartoon series, 'The Wrigglers'. A cartoon series written from a worm's eye view on the world.
